We are seeking a Group Manager Compliance and Management Systems to join our Business Services & Assurance Division.

Remuneration & Hours:

- 38 hour working week
- Salary package range of $173,000 to $179,000 per annum (salary package includes base + super)
- Annual Performance Bonus

***The Opportunity**

As the Group Manager Compliance and Management Systems you will lead the management systems function, providing day to day and strategic leadership to the Compliance and Management Systems team. The Group Manager supports the team to ensure they are best positioned to provide an innovative and responsive service to stakeholders.

**What you'll do**:

- Provide coaching, education and support to senior management staff to foster a stronger assurance capability and a culture of continuous improvement throughout Hunter Water.
- Manage the Compliance and Management Systems Group’s resources and budget to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the Group’s objectives, including the efficient and effective engagement of outsourced contractors.
- Provide appropriate support and advice to management and the Audit and Risk Committee.
- Lead and manage the external audit relationship with the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal.
- Provide support and work collaboratively with other management system representatives working on Hunter Water’s safety, environment and information security systems to drive business wide efficiencies and integration of shared system components.

**What you'll need to be successful**:
**Essential Criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Governance or another related discipline.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with conducting audits, reviews, investigations and/or managing audit programs.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing management systems.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated systems thinking and awareness.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to initiate and manage change.
- The ability to identify solutions and opportunities in complex areas, formulate options and recommendations, and prepare appropriate documentation.
- High level computer literacy and demonstrated competence and skills in spreadsheets, databases, and corporate systems.

***Desirable Criteria**:

- Proven audit experience at a senior level.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications.
- Experience dealing with regulators.
- Experience in working with medium to large organisations and/or utilities.
