The Serviceperson reports to the Service and Warranty Manager and is part of the Service and Warranty team.

The key focus of this role is to be responsible for carrying out defect rectification work on our homes in line with our contractual requirements, standards and with the scope of work.


More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Travel to and from different work sites across the Hunter, Newcastle, Central Coast and Lake Macquarie as required
  • Complete general maintenance as per the defect list to an outstanding quality
  • Communicate with the client around proposed action according to Service and Warranty guidelines
  • Assist with the monitoring of contractor progress and followup outstanding works as required
  • Ensure van supplies is constantly stocked as well as ordering and picking up materials as required
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of NXT Building Group along with:

  • A trade background, preferably Carpentry or similar experience
  • An ability to communicate with clients and various teams to provide information and updates on maintenance works
  • An ability to prioritise effectively whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detail
  • A full driver's licence to operate a service van
  • Willingness to travel to and from jobs as scheduled
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work by yourself or within a team
