Vintech Systems is actively seeking technically competent, experienced field technicians with IT background or knowledge to join our strong technical team. You will be working in a dynamic & diverse environment with cutting edge accommodation technologies.

Based in Hornsby, our company imports, supplies, installs & maintains a comprehensive range of electronic locking systems, room management systems, robots, guest room safes & minibars (among other products). We have an extensive customer base of accommodation venues throughout Australia & the Oceania Region.

You will be trained on the job by our experienced team in all areas of installation, repair, maintenance & support of our product range. This job incorporates both workshop based services provided from our offices, and on-site service to our customers Australia wide. An ability and willingness to travel is an integral part of the job. All travel and accommodation costs are met by the company. The technician receives a daily allowance and is paid a per diem (daily away from home rate) and overtime pay if applicable.

A strong team focus is essential for this position, as is the ability to work independently without supervision but in consultation with Managers, clients and colleagues.

Your duties will include:

- In-workshop repairs, configuration and testing of customer equipment.
- On-site installation, repair, maintenance and support of our products.
- Maintaining records of customer interactions, support requests, repairs and more in our job management system.
- After some months of training, you will be expected to join our after hours on call roster (1 week of on call every 8-9 weeks) to provide after hours support via phone and occasional paid on-site visits to clients in the Sydney area only.
- AH call out requests by client’s outside Sydney will be met by our service partners in the appropriate city or town. These are arranged by the technician rostered on A/H duty.
- In time, depending on your aptitude and skills, you may be trained to deliver system training directly to customers at their accommodation facility.

**Requirements**:

- A positive, solution-oriented attitude, and keen willingness to tackle whatever is required in order to create positive outcomes for our customers.
- Technical aptitude is essential.
- A proven background in electronics, security products, locks and/or cabling will be highly valued.
- Experience, qualifications in and / or practical knowledge of IT will be highly valued.
- Previous software support experience desirable.
- Ability to learn PC based product operating systems quickly and efficiently is essential.
- A valid NSW driver's license is required.
- White / Green Card (CIC) is required.(Can be obtained on appointment if not currently held)
- Willingness to travel within Australia for customer site installations and support is essential.
- Valid Passport desirable. (International travel is presently limited due to the fallout of Covid-19, however occasional OS travel may be required in the future.)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail Is critical to the success in this position.
- Exceptional customer service skills Is essential.

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are highly desirable to succeed.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
