**This is an exciting opportunity for a Policy Officer to join the Climate Change Policy, Adaptation and Risk branch, in a dynamic role within the Government Risk and International Relations team.**

This role is within the branch that leads a program of work to provide evidence-based analysis and advice to the Victorian Government to effectively manage climate risk and build resilience to the impacts of climate change.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team, and to contribute to Victorian Government action on climate change.

**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Experience in undertaking policy analysis and providing policy advice is required.
- Experience undertaking engagement with stakeholders on policy issues is desirable.
- High level knowledge, skills and experience with climate change policy is desirable.
- Experience in project management and coordination is desirable.
- An understanding of Victorian policy processes is desirable.
- Tertiary qualification(s) in social sciences, public policy, natural resources and environmental management, law or similar is desirable but not essential.

**This is a fixed term position available until 30 September 2023. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.**
