Brisbane, Australia Queensland Police Service Full time

You will be working with a team of police officers and analysts to ensure that the intelligence capability of the QPS is strategically placed to better respond to the work environment. This role will require high-level risk management skills to compliment the intelligence function of the command. You will be involved in developing governance for complex intelligence systems and measuring effectiveness on a continuous basis.

**The core capability requirements for this role are**:

- Provide high quality, well-researched advice to senior management in relation to Intelligence related strategy, policy, planning, reporting and performance issues
- Develop and build governance around quality control of intelligence products ensuring consistency and professionalism. Contribute to the development State Intelligence Group's goals and objectives, and making a positive contribution as an effective team member
- Prepare complex correspondence, briefings and submissions for senior management and other diverse audiences in accordance with organisational requirements
- Contribute with the development and delivery of Intelligence policy, organisational improvement and stakeholder engagement strategies
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative, cooperative and effective work environment
- Plan, coordinate, undertake, implement and evaluate organisational improvement activities

**Role Requirements**:
The successful applicant may be required to perform duty within any CIC Group/Unit within the Brisbane Metropolitan area where CIC conducts business.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo psychometric assessment, prior to appointment.
Applicants are advised that whilst performing the duties of the position they may be exposed to material (written, visual and audio) of a graphic and sensitive nature.
Applicants are advised that travel interstate and intrastate may be required.
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance to the mínimal level of Negative Vetting Level 1.
