APS6 Liaison Officer Needed, Fed Gov Agency, 3 Month Role - Possible Extension, $58.50PH+ Super, Ballarat

Hays is currently partnered with a federally funded organisation to recruit a Liaison Officer to join them for a term of 3 months with possible extension.

**Your new role**
The APS6 Liaison Officer (Health/Justice) will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to
complex, difficult or sensitive issues. It may liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a
representational role on behalf of the branch/division
- The role will assist staff working within health and justice settings to support prospective and existing
- participants transitioning back into the community.
- Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Liaising with Agency business areas to ensure participants have appropriate supports in place
- within health or justice settings, and when transitioning into communities.
- Assisting to address challenges or delays in access or planning decisions, ensuring timely and safe
- transitions back into the community
- Providing guidance and advice regarding processes and procedures.
- Supporting potential participants in hospital or justice settings
- Developing initiatives to build networks across the health or justice sector, raising awareness and
- representing the organisation at networking and cross-agency forums.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Qualifications in a relevant field of study would be desirable
- Extensive administrative capabilities
- Widespread reporting skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Due to the nature of our client, for this role you MUST be an Australian Citizen.
