About the role
About you
You’re a creative, organised individual who thrives on delivering great customer experiences and is passionate about making a difference not only to the people you support but in the wider community. If this sounds like you, read on to learn more.
As the successful applicant you will have;
- Experience working in a busy front-line customer service-based role, ideally in a contact centre environment.
- Experience managing customer objections and complaints.
- Competent computer skills, proficiency working with a customer relationship management system or database and Microsoft suite including outlook will be highly regarded
- Flexible to work irregular hours on weekdays and Saturdays
- A current and valid police check
About us
Dedicated to creating social and environmental impact, we’re one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit retailers with over 350 stores nationally and an online store. Our busy contact centre coordinates Salvos Stores’ home collection bookings and enquiries whilst also supporting The Salvation Army with general enquiries and support during donation appeals.
Your role as Contact Centre Representative will include, but not be limited to;
- Attending to a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a professional and efficient manner
- Manage and maintain accurate donor records across their respective databases for home collection services
- Keep up to date with Salvos Stores and the Salvation Army’s information, services and programs.
- Complete Contact Centre office and administration duties and other tasks in a timely and accurate manner
