Mitsui E&P Australia Pty Ltd (MEPAU) is a leading energy company in Australasia. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and operate as the regional oil and gas exploration and production headquarters for Mitsui in Australia. We have interests in approximately 30 projects of various exploration/development stages and a rapidly growing operator presence in the Perth Basin.

We are seeking a **HSE/GSR Administrator **who will support both the Health, Safety & Environment Team and the External, Government & Stakeholder Relations Team and will ensure operational obligations are met while identifying and implementing opportunities to improve control processes/outcomes. This is a new position that will join our Perth office team of experienced professionals on a fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Head of HSE and the Senior Manager, External, Government & Stakeholder Relations, you will:

- Provide administrative support to the Head HSE & Senior Manager, External, Government & Stakeholder Relations and direct reports;
- Provide INX, other HSE related software administrator support, stakeholder systems support and basic user training;
- Maintain and distribute the weekly emergency management team rosters;
- Collate Health and Safety statistics and prepare documents for end of month (EOM) reports;
- Provide data analysis and reporting where required for the HSE team and the GSR team including the maintenance of KPI dashboards;
- Coordinate internal and external systems communications, in collaboration with the Communications Advisor;
- Aid with formatting documents, presentations, and other materials in accordance with established formatting and style guides; and
- Prioritise incoming requests and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery to tasks.

**Desired Skills and Experience**
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and experience:

- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs;
- Proficiency in the INX information management system or equivalent HSE systems, is highly desirable;
- Experience in reporting and data analysis, MS PowerBI knowledge and experience is desirable;
- Sound organisational skills, including multitasking, time-management and influencing without authority;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Well organised individual with a strong ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines;
- Superior attention to detail and ability to problem solve and show initiative;
- Flexible in approach with an adaptive style to suit changing workplace requirements;
- Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute to team projects; and
- Strong data recording, database and systems understanding and analysing skills.
