We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated and strategic Brand Manager to join our Category and Marketing Team. The team is made up of highly driven individuals who play a central role in supporting our brand portfolio coupled with building insight-led plans for strategic growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Marketing Director, Dried Fruit and Health Portfolio, the Brand Manager will play a critical role within the broader team to build strong brand plans and translate these into actionable activities throughout the broader market place,

**Key Responsibilities will include**:
Brand stewardship for the respective brands, working collaboratively with stakeholders and agency partners to ensure development and activation is consistent across all touchpoints
Lead the development of the annual brand plans, with a particular focus on the co-ordination of market and competitor data, performance data and relevant consumer insights.
Lead the execution of brand plans within agreed timelines and budget working closely with the Customer teams to deliver holistic plans that balance brand and commercial objectives.
Manage the execution of ATL and BTL communication plans to support brand objectives, maximising return on identified paid, owned, and earned platforms
Take a proactive position on future innovation and ensuring solutions deliver tangible growth to the brand and category. Leverage consumer insight to ensure there is a strong pipeline for future growth and turn these insights into tangible opportunities
Collaborate closely with the Category Insights team to identify clear opportunities to further develop our brand portfolio, proactively using this information to support all key initiatives
Assist the team with the preparation of detailed monthly brand, market and competitor reports including brand health measures, profitability, and ROI on key investments.
Taking responsibility for the respective brand marketing budget, ensuring all key opportunities are mapped out in advance with the aim of leveraging it fully through the respective consumer and customer channels. Managing ongoing processing of budget spend and monthly reconciliation..
Establish strong connections with the respective customer teams to ensure the brands are leveraging both the above and through the line investment to maximise our ROI.
Effectively prioritise high priority/high return projects aligned to in year category & business priorities.
Drive commercial solutions which grow both sales, margin and market share within the respective categories.

Skills and Experience

Proven brand management experience in FMCG/RetailCurious about consumer behaviour, food trends and a passion for brand building
Demonstrated use of insight led thinking to develop brand and innovation plans

**Strong commercial acumen**: leveraging data analysis and financial metrics to support decision making
Strong experience with end-to-end responsibility for innovation, concept development through to execution
Strong level of experience developing and delivering digital led communication plans
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice, influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Strong project management skills across multiple stakeholders. Keeping projects on time and with the right level of momentum.
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment.
An entrepreneurial style, demonstrating a history of using initiative to uncover and deliver outcomes
A strong ability to build relationships cross-functionally with a high level of influence to drive outcomes
Sound ability to collect, analyse and present complex data and information effectively to support decision making and action planning
Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to achieve objectives and KPIs
Demonstrated record in delivering continuous improvement initiatives in a complex operating environment.
Ability to adapt positively to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles.
Ability to operate at a strategic level while being a hands on team player
