About the Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub (MREH) Project:

The MREH Project is a 600MW/1,600MWh battery energy storage project located in Australia. Our joint venture undertakes the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the balance of the plant.

About the Role:

This role involves managing and overseeing the contractual aspects of our operations. As a Contract Administrator, you will manage subcontractor and supplier contracts within prescribed cost limits while ensuring compliance and effective administration.

You will work closely with various teams to develop your career on Victoria's largest BESS project and contribute to the success of our projects and relationships.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of all subcontract and supplier contracts.
  • Manage financial administration for the project.
  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing and reviewing the project monthly report.
  • Develop and manage your own work schedule to deliver required outputs.
  • Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing.
  • Expedite the process of contract execution, procurement, logistics.
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary project team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying / Commerce / Construction Management / Economics / Law / Business.
  • Ability to build rapport and manage relationships.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of legal requirements involved in specific contracts.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail and ability to notice errors.
