Overview

Communications Manager (Affirmative measure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment) – Australian Taxation Office

This vacancy is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. To be eligible for this role candidates must provide confirmation of their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.

We are seeking motivated and experienced Communications Managers to join our specialised teams within our ATO Corporate business area.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives and managing digital ATO channels in support of the ATO's corporate objectives.
  • Drive meaningful outcomes for both the organisation and the Australian community.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners, senior stakeholders and third parties to plan, develop, implement and evaluate marketing and communication strategies, projects, products and events.
  • Manage digital communication channels (where applicable) to enable the ATO to reach millions of taxpayers across Australia and beyond.
  • Foster engagement, strengthen partnerships and support the delivery of clear, consistent and impactful messaging.
Location and Availability

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in multiple locations including Adelaide, Albury, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Dandenong, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong.

Salary and Benefits

Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia A$130,000 - A$150,000
