About You

You're a strategic thinker, a trusted advisor and a natural leader. As an Account Director you will lead integrated marketing campaigns for some of the world's most exciting B2B and B2C technology brands – think Shopify, Mailchimp, Jabra, Oracle and Ericsson.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic PR accounts, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring excellence in the planning and execution of integrated campaigns across media relations, thought leadership and content development. You will bring a strong commercial mindset, passion for innovation and deep understanding of how to deliver measurable impact.

What You Do

  • Serve as the strategic lead and senior advisor to clients building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies ensuring alignment with client business goals.
  • Oversee multiple account teams, ensuring high quality delivery, team development and operational excellence.
  • Drive organic growth within current accounts and contribute to new business development including pitching and proposal development.
  • Mentor and coach to foster a culture of learning, collaboration and high performance.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends which translates into extending innovative thinking to client's business challenges.

What You Offer

  • At least 6 years of agency or in-house experience in communications consulting, preferably with a strong track record in corporate and technology sectors.
  • A mindset rooted in curiosity and continuous improvement – you ask great questions and seek smarter ways of working.
  • A collaborative mindset, proactive attitude with a strong ability to inspire confidence in clients' and teams alike.
  • Proven experience to lead client relationships, run large accounts and campaigns and deliver results.
  • Deep understanding of the Australian media and influencer landscape with strong relationships and a strategic approach to earned media.
