Post Office Clerk

This is a contingent position based upon contract award. Location: Alice Springs, Australia. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

Overview

KBR's Government Solutions National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. Your work will contribute to protecting national security and supporting critical missions.

What You'll Do
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Prepare outgoing mail (enveloping, stamping, sorting).
  • Manage postal requirements and ensure postage is up-to-date.
  • Maintain records and logs of mail.
  • Maintain Quality Control: implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet standards.
  • Facilitate team communication: ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with project stakeholders.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must have a US Secret clearance, or an Australian NV-1 clearance.
  • Minimum of two years of USPS or AUS Mail experience.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of mail processes and postal regulations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in service delivery.
  • Adaptability to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
  • Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
