Post Office ClerkThis is a contingent position based upon contract award. Location: Alice Springs, Australia. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
OverviewKBR's Government Solutions National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. Your work will contribute to protecting national security and supporting critical missions.
What You'll Do- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Prepare outgoing mail (enveloping, stamping, sorting).
- Manage postal requirements and ensure postage is up-to-date.
- Maintain records and logs of mail.
- Maintain Quality Control: implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet standards.
- Facilitate team communication: ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with project stakeholders.
- Other duties as required.
- Must be a US or Australian citizen.
- Must have a US Secret clearance, or an Australian NV-1 clearance.
- Minimum of two years of USPS or AUS Mail experience.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of mail processes and postal regulations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in service delivery.
- Adaptability to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
- Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
