About the Opportunity

The Senior Business Analyst will focus on a range of significant projects/initiatives such as preparing analytical and insight-driven reports for I&R (Insurance & Roadside) and the wider RACV business that help deliver the goals described in the corporate strategy, and departmental business plans. Working alongside a variety of senior stakeholders, you will hold exceptional verbal and written communication skills, backed by strong analytical and technical capabilities which generate actionable insight to inform and uplift business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed product analysis and reporting for I&R areas (e.g. Roadside Assist and Insurance), focusing on identifying performance trends and supporting business decisions
• Assist in developing member-focused strategies by supporting analysis of product/channel performance and collaborating with marketing to refine audience targeting
• Participate in cross-portfolio initiatives (e.g. Digital & Digital Products, Leisure etc.) by providing analytical support and documenting findings
• Support efforts to improve member and product growth through data-driven insights and reporting
• Help integrate member and customer value considerations into team decision-making and prioritisation processes
• Collaborate with teams across Insurance & Roadside to ensure initiatives are informed by member and customer insights
• Provide input into engagement activities and support implementation of insight-led actions under guidance from senior team members
• Apply time and resources efficiently to support team deliverables and operational needs

Who We Are Looking For

• 5+years' experience in product and customer analytics in a consulting or corporate environment
• Postgraduate qualification in relevant business discipline such as commerce, marketing, economics etc.
• Hands-on ability to manipulate, analyze, align and synthesize data into actionable insight across multiple data sources (internal data sources, external data sources, qualitative & quantitative customer research etc.)
• Strong ability to engage stakeholders and contribute to informed decision-making through clear communication and well-prepared analysis
• Deliver detailed and comprehensive product business analytics from end to end

Role-Specific Capabilities

• Solid understanding of commercial value drivers and business case fundamentals, with the ability to support analysis across multiple product areas and operational touchpoints
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of analytical biases, with a focus on producing reliable and well-supported findings
• Demonstrates initiative and a collaborative mindset, contributing to team outcomes and continuous improvement
• Able to engage with stakeholders to support decision-making through clear and relevant analysis
• Effective communication and presentation skills using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint to share insights and updates with clarity
• Advanced in SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel for data extraction and analysis; familiarity with Salesforce / SOQL and Heroku is highly desirable
• Strong capability to contribute to effective business case development and financial modelling in collaboration with product and finance teams
