Delivery Services Officer Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Services Officer to join our team at our Lyndhurst facility in Dandenong South, Melbourne.

The successful candidate will work efficiently and collaboratively with our customers and operations teams across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland to manage and resolve customer queries, finding the best solutions for both our customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with the operations team to ensure all customer enquiries are dealt with and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnosing inbound customer service enquiries and resolving where applicable.
  • Stakeholder Management: Conducting enquiries with internal stakeholders prior to escalation of any complex customer enquiries to Leader and operations.
  • Reporting: Producing KPI reports and performing general administration tasks as required.
Your Experience and Skills
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing, logistics or distribution environment.
  • Logistics Knowledge: A good understanding of a fast-paced logistics/retail operation.
  • Customer Relationships: Extensive experience in providing high quality and professional service to both internal and external stakeholders, including managing competing customer and internal stakeholder requests.
  • Rapport Building: Impressive credentials in developing strong relationships and rapport with customers and internal operations staff.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time Management: Time management and organisational skills.
  • IT Skills: IT skills (Microsoft Office, WMS, TMS).
