The successful candidate should have:

At least 4+ years' experience working in Public Practice

Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or equivalent and have completed CA/CPA

Proactive approach to tasks with a solution driven mindset

Strong written and verbal communication skills

The role:

Preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS' and other reporting obligations for companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSFs and sole traders.

Review work of junior staff to bring jobs to finalisation stage and in doing so, provide feedback. When appropriate, treat review changes as a training opportunity to develop technical knowledge and skill of junior staff.

Preparation of periodic reports for clients to analyse business performance.

Implement technical skillset to identify tax issues and suggest strategies for clients to minimise tax.

Research and suggest best practice solutions for technical tax matters.

Timely and accurate completion of jobs.

Accountable for your own work, highly organised and able to manage your own tasks and priorities.

Professionally handle queries and issues.

Complete other general duties on request.
