We're looking for a conscientious Assistant Project Officer to support employee experience and learning initiatives that make a real difference for our people.
What You'll Do
As part of a dynamic and collaborative project team, you'll contribute to high-impact initiatives that empower our workforce to improve outcomes for individuals and communities across NSW.
You'll work in an environment that values innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement, where shared goals are met through clear communications, problem solving and mutual accountability.
Supported by experienced professionals, you'll be part of a team that fosters a culture of trust, learning and respect, enabling you to grow while contributing to meaningful work.
As An Assistant Project Officer, You Will- Support project planning, implementation, and reporting
- Conduct research and contribute to project briefs
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with project methodologies
- Coordinate meetings and provide secretariat support
- Communicate with stakeholders to monitor, direct and answer queries
- Provide administrative finance support including budget tracking and accounts payable
- Experience working in a learning and development environment
- Experience in project or administrative support
- Skills in using a Learning Management System for course creation and learner administration
- Skills in using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, MS Teams, Excel and Word
- Financial acumen including budget tracking and accounts payable
