The Company

As their new Finance Manager - Capital Projects you'll join the Global Corporate Finance team, working closely with the Group GM Finance, in a role that offers broad business exposure and a genuine career development pathway.

The Role

The Finance Manager – Group Capital is responsible for the governance, planning and evaluation of the company's largest capital projects (typically >$5m). You'll manage the capital budgeting process, run investment reviews and prepare reporting for senior stakeholders including the CFO and CEO. Direct capital management experience is not required, if you bring strong technical foundations, commercial curiosity and a proactive approach, you'll have the support and exposure to grow into the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading governance for major capital projects across the group
  • Reviewing business cases, analysing IRR/NPV metrics and challenging assumptions
  • Partnering with Strategy, FP&A, Treasury and Operations to align investments with business strategy
  • Preparing ELT-level capital reporting and insights
  • Contributing to strategic finance projects including sustainability reporting and M&A

About You

You're a technically strong finance professional, ideally CA/CPA qualified, with an external audit foundation (Big 4/top-tier) and 1–2 commercial roles post-practice. You're confident working with senior stakeholders, can operate autonomously, and have the analytical skills to evaluate complex projects.

Skills & Experience

  • Have reviewed or posses financial modelling skills (ideally NPV)
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to influence decision-making
  • Exposure to asset-intensive industries (advantageous but not essential)
