At Real Response, we train people for the kinds of emergencies that don't follow a script.

We create high-intensity, real-world training environments where participants learn to stay calm, and make life-saving decisions. Our trainers are current or former emergency professionals who know firsthand that real incidents don't happen in tidy classrooms — and that preparation matters.

We're looking for experienced paramedics, emergency nurses, fire EMRs, military medics, or other emergency medical professionals who want to share their knowledge and empower others. You'll be delivering our unique, simulation-based training at a variety of client sites across Sydney — and potentially interstate. Join our team and help redefine how first aid is taught, understood, and applied.

Who We're Looking For

Someone who's calm under pressure, confident in front of a group, and serious about helping people develop practical, life-saving skills. You bring real operational experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and a grounded, professional approach.

You'll Ideally Have

  • Experience as a paramedic, emergency nurse, military medic, or similar
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Professional presence
  • A current Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to get them)
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116/40122)

What You'll Do
  • Deliver high-quality, simulation-based first aid training
  • Adapt content and delivery style for different client groups, environments and locations
  • Travel to client sites around Sydney, with optional interstate opportunities
  • Receive support and thorough upskilling to enable you to deliver the training

You'll be part of a supportive, energised team, and we'll provide all the equipment, systems, and ongoing training you need to thrive.

Company Overview

Real Response is an Australian training company with a global footprint. Since its inception in 2014 Real Response has trained over 20,000 students annually across Australasia, Asia and the Middle East & transformed the way first aid is taught both domestically & internationally, by immersing participants in simulated medical emergencies, much like elite medical teams, military and police forces are trained. As a result of our training methodology, Real Response has been entrusted by numerous high risk organisations around Australia & the globe to deliver first aid training for their staff. Real Response has transformed the way safety courses are taught by immersing participants in simulated emergencies, much like elite medical teams, military and police forces are trained.
