About the Job



The First Aid Trainer is responsible for delivering and assessing first aid courses on behalf of Australian Red Cross. This role ensures a positive end-to-end student experience. It involves creating a positive and relaxing learning environment that empowers others in the community.



Key Responsibilities




  • Deliver high-quality first aid courses to students from various backgrounds
  • Assess students' performance in accordance with required quality and compliance standards
  • Maintain a professional communication style across different mediums (face-to-face, webinars, virtual, online, email)
  • Promote quality learning outcomes through engaging interactions with students
  • Demonstrate industry experience in health or first aid environments
  • Organise and manage time effectively, ensuring seamless course delivery
  • Hold relevant qualifications, including the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment


Requirements




  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • Relevant First Aid qualifications (HLTAD011 or higher desirable but not essential)
