EL1 Senior Salesforce Support Engineer

  • Contract start: 26 February 2024, for 12 months with extensions up to 12 months.
  • Locations: Canberra, Richmond, Surry Hills.
  • Maintain and configure Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Digital Experience applications.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform; build end-to-end automated processes using declarative tools.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot OmniStudio components: FlexCards, Omniscripts, DataRaptors, and integration procedures.
  • Perform system administration: manage users, monitor application metrics, configure Salesforce, and ensure data integrity.
  • Deploy changes via existing DevOps framework.
  • Interrogate log sources to investigate issues.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce releases; assess functionality requirements and impact on departments/users.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of processes and configurations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across disciplines.
  • Work within an Agile delivery methodology.
  • Troubleshoot API and integration issues, e.g., MuleSoft.
  • Develop event monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and team training.

  1. At least 5 years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  2. Experience/exposure with Salesforce Industries, including OmniStudio.
  3. Hands-on experience with version control, branching, and metadata deployments.
  4. Certified Salesforce Admin (ADM201 or ADM211) and Platform App Builder.
  5. Demonstrable experience supporting Experience Cloud.
  6. Platform Developer I Certification or Vlocity Certification is a plus.
  7. Enthusiasm for accessible design and development, with a focus on accessibility.
