About Our Role
This role supports expansion into Newcastle and the development of a Civil capability in New South Wales. With a Principal Civil Engineer providing project, client and personnel leadership, there are opportunities for career development. The candidate should be technically strong and capable of working across sectors to develop designs, with experience in industrial/resources infrastructure, water and wastewater design, major bulk earthworks, stormwater management, roads and carparks, and local government infrastructure.

As part of a growing team, you will work with engineers at different experience levels and disciplines. WGA offers mentoring within the team and opportunities for mentoring from technical leaders.

About You

Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders including the Civil and Water teams across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Multiple years of post-graduate consultancy experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Industrial/resources infrastructure
  • Water and Wastewater design
  • Major bulk earthworks design
  • Stormwater management
  • Roads and Carparks
  • Local Government Infrastructure
  • Desire to coordinate with external Clients
  • Ability to mentor and develop Graduate Engineers and Designers
  • CPEng accreditation ideal
