About Our Role

Continuation of the expansion into Newcastle and the long-term strategy has created an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to help develop a Civil capability in New South Wales. With the appointment of a Principal Civil Engineer to provide project, client and personnel leadership, there are opportunities for career development. The role requires a technically strong engineer who can work across several sectors to develop designs. Experience in industrial and resources sectors, water supply, wastewater design, and major earthworks is desirable. You will work with engineers at different experience levels and disciplines, with mentorship of junior staff and opportunities for mentoring by technical leaders within our teams.

About You
  • Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders including our Civil and Water teams across Australia and New Zealand
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Multiple years of post-graduate consultancy experience in one or more: Industrial/resources infrastructure; Water and Wastewater design; Major bulk earthworks design; Stormwater management; Roads and Carparks; Local Government Infrastructure
  • Desire to expand capacity to coordinate with external clients
  • Ability to mentor and develop Graduate Engineers and Designers
  • CPEng accreditation is ideal
