Overview

Join Marriott International's Voyage Program to develop leadership skills through hands-on Food & Beverage Operations experience at Pier One Sydney.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Cultivate customer relationships and champion innovation within the organization
  • Participate in day-to-day hotel operations and management meetings
  • Engage in mini-rotations across hotel disciplines to learn various functions
  • Manage projects and people, improve processes, and pitch new initiatives through Voyage projects
  • Collaborate with Voyage participants worldwide and provide feedback on the curriculum
  • Take on special projects drawing upon all training received
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Recent university or hotel school graduates (within the past year) or those graduating within 12 months of application
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education required
  • Superior critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to foster relationships and work collaboratively
  • Self-management skills and a self-starter attitude
  • Real desire for personal and professional growth
  • Work authorization in the country of application
Training & Development
  • 18-month full-time, paid leadership development program
  • Hands-on, discipline-specific training combined with leadership-focused curriculum
  • Mentorship from Marriott senior leaders and coaches
  • Exposure to multiple hotel functions through mini-rotations
  • Opportunities to connect with current and former Voyage participants
Career Progression
  • Preparation for supervisory or entry-level management roles within Marriott
