Blue Projects is looking for a skilled Process Draftsman to join our growing team in Sydney on a contract basis, with the potential to expand beyond part-time hours. If you're passionate about industrial design and thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

  • Create detailed technical drawings and schematics for industrial projects using 2D and 3D CAD tools
  • Develop PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and piping/mechanical designs
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into precise documentation
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements
  • Support design reviews, propose improvements, and maintain drawing records
  • Assist with MTOs, specifications, and documentation like FDS and SOPs

What We're Looking For:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in industrial project drafting
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in CAD systems (2D & 3D), Microsoft Office; MS Project is a plus
  • Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Based in or near Sydney
