Would you like to be part of a team focused on transforming healthcare and driving innovation on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Federal government healthcare? Do you have a business, sales, or technical background and/or healthcare experience necessary to help establish AWS as a key technology platform provider?

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share, drive maturity, and promote broad use of AWS, which will transform healthcare services for all Australian citizens.

Key job responsibilities
  • Drive AWS adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets through executive engagement, customer education, and strategic influence.
  • Develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to the creation of a robust sales pipeline, including opportunities in existing accounts and new business in greenfield customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional support teams including Solution Architects, Professional Services, Customer Solutions, Support, Training, and Partners to deliver growth and high-value engagements.
  • Influence and educate customer executives on transforming in the cloud and delivering value to reimagine clinician and patient experiences.
A day in the life

The candidate should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, seeking to push the boundaries of technology today. The ideal candidate will develop a strategic account plan and execute it throughout the year, consistently delivering on targets. They should possess both sales and technical understanding to engage at the CXO level and with technical stakeholders. The Account Manager will be a strong analytical thinker thriving in fast-paced environments with excellent communication and presentation skills.

You will also develop and manage a sales pipeline, deliver account strategies, build relationships with key decision-makers, and work with internal and cross-functional teams to create compelling solutions for customers.

Minimum qualifications
  • 7+ years of technology sales experience with quota-carrying roles.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.
  • Ability to translate customer priorities into solutions.
  • Proven track record of territory growth and quota achievement.

Additional qualifications and skills are encouraged but not mandatory.
