Job Title: Social Worker at NSW Health
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated social worker to join the Social Work Department at Royal North Shore Hospital. The position is located within our Cancer Services and Renal Team, working with patients and their families, carers.
About the Role:
You will be part of a large, dedicated and highly skilled department working with culturally and socially diverse patients and their families. As a social worker, you will provide high-quality services to consumers, carers and families to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality Social Work service to consumers, carers and families.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and interagency networks.
- Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Able to demonstrate a practical application of the AASW Code of Ethics.
