We provide holistic, recovery-focused care for patients with anxiety, depression, psychosis, personality vulnerabilities and dependency disorders.

As a Social Worker at The Sydney Clinic, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessments, therapeutic interventions and support to consumers.

About the Role

This part-time permanent position offers flexibility in hours and days of work. You will be responsible for providing individual sessions to inpatients referred for social work services, collaborating with other clinicians and stakeholders, and contributing to family meetings.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual sessions with inpatients, addressing NDIS/Centrelink applications, housing priorities and homelessness, medical certificates etc.
  • Participate in family meetings with patients, Psychiatrists and their families.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other clinicians and stakeholders involved in patient treatment.

Selection Criteria
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work.
  • Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
