About the roleReporting into the National Account Manager On-Premise, the Key Account Manager On Premise – Sydney will drive sustainable sales growth for Penfolds across on-premise channels and managing key customer relationships. This predominantly field-based role focuses on strategic account development, brand visibility, and execution excellence, contributing to Penfolds' vision of becoming a global luxury icon.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans across key on-premise accounts in line with Penfolds' commercial objectives.
- Build strong relationships with hospitality ownership groups to drive brand visibility and availability.
- Negotiate and manage joint business plans, promotional activity, and new product launches to optimise portfolio performance.
- Provide market insights and customer intelligence to inform internal strategy and decision-making.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, investment tracking, and delivery of customer commitments.
- Represent Penfolds at trade and brand events, delivering premium experiences and advocating for the brand with professionalism and passion.
In a high-impact role, our future Key Account Manager will possess the below attributes:
- The ability to mentor and grow team members in line with their career goals and business objectives
- Strong face-to-face sales skills, the hunger to close the sale is imperative
- Have a passion for luxury wine and the ability to talk to it - WSET qualification are a nice to have
- A degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a strong strategic focus.
- An understanding of managing wholesalers
- An agent of change, you will be able to embrace and grow with it
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- On Premise food and beverage experience (luxury hospitality experience preferred)
