PositionAs a Mentor Coordinator at our Hamlyn Heights location you will be the cornerstone for a team of legends and create unforgettable Before School and After School programs for primary aged kids. This is an exciting full time position (38 hours per week).
You will- Lead a Before and After school care program that kids can't wait to be a part of
- Mentor other Coordinators by building their confidence, consistency and capabilities
- Support new Coordinators during induction and help new schools get set up for success
- Run a Service of Excellence that becomes the training hub of your region
- Be a subject matter expert in an area you are passionate about and share your expertise across the organisation
- Attend fortnightly Mentor collab sessions to share good practice and learn from other Mentors
- Oversee the details that keep our program humming smoothly - rostering, compliance, enrolments, and planning
Monday to Friday
Before school care:6:30am to 9:00am
After school care:2:45pm to 6:00pm
Admin hours:9 hours 15 minutes
Total:38 hours per week
Don't forget about the split shift allowance and laundry allowance too
We are looking for someone who- Knows OSHC inside out, with experience as a Coordinator
- Is organised, creative, and ready for progression - this role is a great step toward an Area Manager or Operations Leadership position
- Has a sound understanding of the NQS/NQF Framework, National Laws and Regulations, Child Safe Standards, and the My Time, Our Place Framework
- Loves helping others succeed and grow
- Stays calm under pressure and always has a plan
- Leads with playfulness, integrity, and connection
- Believes quality education and a positive team culture can change lives
- Relevant OSHC/Education qualifications (or equivalent)
- Working with Children Check and child protection training
- Strong knowledge of regulations and frameworks
- Leadership experience
