This school-hours friendly clinical nurse position is rewarding as you will see the impact first hand and contribute to the success of students with specialised health needs. This is a permanent part-time position (0.5FTE or 38 hours per fortnight) and is regional, based across multiple schools with the base location at Victoria Park State School.

Responsibilities- Form strategic partnerships with schools, health professionals and families as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Deliver school staff education through in-service training scenarios
- Support capability building, curriculum planning, resource development and school improvement initiatives
- Develop evidence informed methodology effectively implementing across state schools in your area
- Develop emergency health plans supporting students in the education setting
- Consult various stakeholders to enhance professional nursing practices and standards
- Maintain and build professional networks
- Form partnerships with other allied health professionals to increase network capacity
- Analyse policies, procedures, legislation, codes and standards to support continuous improvement through the delivery of health services across the state
- High level consultation providing information to parents, staff and students
- Actively participate as a valued team member across multi-disciplinary settings and represent your profession at all times
- Pay parity in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health and Department of Education) certified agreement (EB11) 2022
