About the Role:

We are seeking a confident and engaging Lead Facilitator to deliver our school incursion demo day. This is a hands-on, creative learning experience designed for primary-aged children. As the Lead Facilitator, you will guide the session, run activities, and ensure an inspiring and well-managed environment throughout the event.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging, structured activities to small groups of children (ages 6–12)

-Lead the session with energy, clarity, and professionalism

- Set up and pack down the activity space

- Ensure safety, inclusiveness, and smooth transitions between tasks

- Represent the program in a positive, friendly, and professional manner

Training:

A 2-hour paid training session will be scheduled before the event to walk you through the program, activity flow, and facilitation tips.

Requirements:

- Confident in leading group activities and managing time

- Passion for education, creativity, and working with children

- Experience with facilitation, teaching, or youth engagement (formal or informal)

- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

- Friendly, organised, and proactive

- An interest in the arts is a bonus, as the activities are arts-based

This is a great opportunity for individuals studying education or a related field to gain practical facilitation experience in a supportive and creative environment.
