The Role

Joining our team as an Assistant Manager, you will be able to continue to develop your career with a growing specialisation.

You will receive supported client interaction from when you commence to help you grow and develop in a great work environment.

A typical day may include:

• entering and allocating accounting transactions for self-managed super funds (SMSFs)
• undertaking bank and investment reconciliations
• interacting with clients over email, phone and in person
• preparing financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs
• working on rollovers, contributions, pensions and lump sums for funds
• liaising with third parties such as the Australian Tax Office and financial institutions
• accurate record keeping, processing and system management, and
• supporting our network of financial and investment advisers
• Assists in the training, coaching and mentoring of Assistant Accountants.

About You

Key to your success in the role will be:

• At least 2 years' experience in SMSF accounting
• A relevant Bachelors' degree (Commerce or similar) with a major in Accounting with your CA/CPA qualification underway
• Experience using SimpleFund 360
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn.
• Your ability to manage competing priorities
