The Platforms, Integration & Data team are responsible for designing, delivering and maintaining high-quality IT systems and applications to support the entire agency and partner organisations in delivering the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

About the Role

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to conduct testing across NDIS projects, ensuring high quality deliverables.

As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, identifying and prioritising defects, and providing technical documentation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional, system, integration, regression, load and performance testing.
  • Design and execute effective manual and automated test cases, creating test data as needed.
  • Discover, reproduce, prioritise, retest and document software defects.
  • Participate in software requirements, analysis and design phases to provide quality feedback.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring to other teams when required.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for test procedures.
  • BUILD EFFECTIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH STAKEHOLDERS.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrated experience using GIT for version control.
  2. Proven expertise in test automation frameworks including Playwright, Selenium Webdriver and Cucumber.js.
  3. K6 Load Testing tool and Jmeter experience in developing and executing load tests.
  4. Solid experience in API testing, developing and executing RESTful API tests.
  5. Experience with Regular Expressions and XPath.
  6. Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools.
  7. Experience working in cloud environments, specifically AWS and/or Azure.
  8. Commitment to meeting work targets and standards.
  • PASSION FOR ICT AND A WILLINGNESS TO LEARN.
  • EXPERIENCE ACROSS VARIOUS ICT DISCIPLINES.
  • OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE THROUGH ICT MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORKS SUCH AS ITIL.
