About the Role: Senior Electronics Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hardware solutions for simulating military vehicle driver cabin instrumentation.

Your primary focus will be on leading a team of electronics engineers and technicians, ensuring the development of high-quality hardware designs that align with project requirements.

  • Develop system-level schematics documenting the electrical architecture of our simulation systems.
  • Design and develop reusable electrical architectures for our simulation systems.
  • Lead schematic design, PCB layout, and fabrication, and integration testing of custom driver instrument panels.
  • Design, simulate, and test electronic hardware including power, serial, Ethernet communication, digital and analog circuits.
  • Evaluate designs for EMI/EMC compliance, incorporating cable and PCB layout best practices.
  • Provide technical support for prototype builds, production testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in customer surveys to inform future cabin replication projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design objectives.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in electronics design and development.
  • Proficiency in PCB design and layout using Altium.
  • A proven ability to lead projects from concept through to production.
  • A strong understanding of EMI/EMC design and mitigation strategies.
  • Solid experience in digital and analog circuit design.
  • Familiarity with microcontroller-based systems and safety-critical hardware design.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, RS-485, TCP/UDP.
