Job Description

We are recruiting for a Full-time role for the position of an HSA Team Leader at Epworth Freemasons.

The Cleaning & Orderly Team Leader will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaners while actively participating in cleaning tasks and supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility. In addition to maintaining cleanliness, this role involves providing orderly support—such as moving equipment, restocking supplies, and assisting staff with non-clinical tasks. The ideal candidate leads by example, ensuring high hygiene standards, efficient workflows, and a well-coordinated team.

You will make an impact by-

• Providing a high quality meal delivery service to our patients
• Performing efficiently across the plating line service
• Supporting function set up and cleaning
• Being respectful, understanding and compassionate
• Working with a committed team and striving for consistently efficient services

You will have an upbeat personality and positive attitude. You will be happy working autonomously, in a team and with patients directly.

You will have-

• A strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver on, and respond compassionately to our patient's needs
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly, confidently and courteously
• An organised approach to work and ability to work consistently and effectively in a busy environment
• A well-developed understanding of Infection Control in a hospital environment
• Basic Food Safety training as well as Food Allergy training
• Adaptability to change tasks throughout your shift readily
• Flexibility with availability for rostered shifts across morning, afternoon and weekends
