Responsibilities- Support after-school programs for school‑aged children, delivering high‑quality education and care.
- Provide nurturing care, create a safe and welcoming environment, and develop recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all to enjoy.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members; work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes.
- Choose when you work and grow your skills and experience as an educator with our Uniting Early Learning team.
- Hourly rate of $27.17 + super + 25% casual loading, with salary packaging benefits for eligible living expenses (e.g., groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and more).
- Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with the ability to form positive relationships with children and team members.
- Experience in Early Childhood or engaging with children in some capacity is desirable.
- Ability to plan and implement a fun, safe, and engaging program in collaboration with the OSHC Service Leader and team, adhering to laws, regulations and learning frameworks.
- Current or willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certificates, and a Working with Children Check.
- Awareness of educational pathways that may qualify for this position (e.g., Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent).
