Explore new opportunities as an experienced geologist in a dynamic team at the Norseman Gold Project. The successful candidate will assist with planning and execution of exploration activities, provide geological support to mining and production teams, and play a key role in resource development projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geology, excellent communication skills, and experience in supervising surface drilling programs, logging drill chips and diamond drill core, and monitoring core quality and contractor performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of surface drilling programs
  • Logging of drill chips and diamond drill core
  • Monitoring core quality and contractor performance

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Compiling and distributing daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Surface geological mapping, sampling and compilation of plans
  • Design of project exploration programs
  • Geological interpretation and updating of existing models

Apart from technical skills, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Applied Science (BAppSc) majoring in geology
  • 2+ Years experience in exploration roles
  • Gold experience preferred
