The Role
Bridge Resources is recruiting for a pivotal leadership role within a growing diversified metals and mining company. As the Principal Exploration Geologist, you will be responsible for driving all exploration, resource development, and strategic growth initiatives.
Based in Perth with site travel as required, you will lead the company's technical team to advance a diverse portfolio of precious, base metal, and critical mineral projects from discovery through to Final Investment Decision (FID).
The technical team services both an internal and external client base, to enhance and develop projects into production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute exploration strategies, programs, and budgets to drive resource growth. Lead, mentor, and foster a high-performance culture within the exploration & geology team.
  • Project Advancement: Manage all exploration programs and oversee project advancement through studies.
  • Resource & Compliance: Take ownership of JORC (2012) compliant resource estimations and geological models. Manage and provide technical sign-off for all public reporting, including ASX announcements.
  • Commercial & Growth: Lead technical due diligence for new project acquisitions and joint ventures. Present strategic findings and technical recommendations to the executive team and Board.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Geology.
  • 10+ years' experience in Australian resource exploration.
  • Must have experience working with Gold and Precious Minerals exploration.
  • Expert understanding of JORC Code (2012) reporting requirements.
  • Proven success leading projects through all study phases (Scoping, PFS, DFS) and managing drill programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing technical teams.
  • High proficiency in geological modelling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Surpac) and GIS.
