Overview

Senior Tax & Advisory Accountant - Private Practice. We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (Tax & Business Advisory) to join our collaborative team in Balgowlah. This is a full-time role with a clear and achievable pathway to partnership, backed by our directors and a dedicated client service team — so you're free to focus on advisory, client engagement, and growth.

What You'll Do
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries
  • Deliver proactive business and tax advisory services directly to clients
  • Identify opportunities to grow client value and develop niche specialties
  • Mentor junior team members (if desired), with support from senior staff
What You'll Need

It is an expectation that you will have spent a few years as an accountant in a private practice and understand the systems and processes we rely on to support our clients and grow the business.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in a public practice accounting firm (Australian experience essential)
  • CA qualified (or close to completion)
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship
