About the role

• Receptionist (70-80%): General reception duties including answering phones, directing queries, printing, collation and distribution of weekly materials; maintain a bubbly, welcoming personality and a can-do attitude; assist with day-to-day operations of the Centre; manage office supplies; filing & scanning; maintain a clean and tidy office space/environment.
• Lunch Cover (20-30%): Covering a couple of lunch breaks while other Educators are on breaks; ad-hoc time on the floor to support ratio as required.

About you

• Certificate III/Diploma/Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA approved) – desirable
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, both over the phone and face to face
• High level computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent time management and scheduling skills
• Demonstrated active listening, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of the National Quality Framework including National Regulations, NQS, EYLF
