About the Role

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Infant & Child Mental Health Clinician to join a thriving, engaged team of clinicians providing clinic based mental health assessment, formulation and treatment to infants and children experiencing complex mental health difficulties in the South East. The Infant & Child Core Community Treatment Team provides medium term treatment for infants and children (0-11 year olds) and their families in the City of Casey, City of Greater Dandenong and Shire of Cardinia areas. You will work with a multidisciplinary team led by a Team Manager and consultant psychiatrists. We work collaboratively with families, schools and other agencies to create identified areas for change and work strongly from a relational and systemic framework.

This is a fixed term role supporting the team at our Casey and Frankston sites. There is 0.4 FTE available until February 2026. This role is funded as a Grade 3 Allied Health Clinician: Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology (YB27,YB54,YC49), Grade 3 Psychologist (PL4) and Grade 4 Nursing (NP77). The role will suit a creative and innovative candidate who strives to learn and embrace emerging practice directions. About ELMHS

Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) provides assessment and treatment for infants, childre, adolescents, young people and their families. We work with the 0-18 age group in the Southern Region. We provide a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services. We work with families in addressing a number of complex issues that families may be experiencing including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neurodevelopmental presentations and psychosis.

About You
