YOUR ROLE

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for designing cutting-edge motors, hoists, gearboxes, and clamps? Do you excel at weight calculations and bending force analysis to deliver safe, high-performance solutions? This role will see you creating bespoke designs for a leading innovator in the entertainment rigging industry. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and Engineering high-performance custom mechanical hoisting solutions that include: motors, hoists, gearboxes, clamps & weighing scales for stage rigging applications
  • Utilizing CAD software (preferably Inventor) to create detailed and accurate designs
  • Conducting finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations to optimise designs for performance
  • Ensuring all designs meet strict safety protocols and standards
ABOUT YOU

With a track record of designing and delivering to the highest quality assurance and design standards, you excel in your ability to interpret what the client is looking for and bring this to life through solid, practical design solutions. You are passionate, energetic and ambitious, and will bring the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in motors, rigging, hoists, gearboxes, motion and lifting mechanisms ideally in the entertainment, industrial or automation sectors
  • Proven experience in weight calculations, bend force analysis, and CAD/FEA tools.
  • Knowledgeable about safety standards and load cell systems for real-time weight monitoring.
  • A problem-solver with a track record of delivering precision-engineered solutions
