Job Description

As Director, Business Services & Tax, you will:

  • Set strategic direction for the division and champion innovation and quality.
  • Manage a significant portfolio, delivering proactive tax planning, structuring, and commercial advisory.
  • Build trusted relationships and broaden service lines across the firm.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team (Senior Managers, Managers, Accountants, Graduates, Support).
  • Own divisional financials: budgets, profitability, WIP, debtors, and delivery efficiency.
  • Contribute to the executive leadership group and firm-wide initiatives.
Successful Applicant
  • CA/CPA with 10+ years in public practice, including senior leadership.
  • Deep technical strength in Australian taxation, structures, and reporting.
  • Proven in business development and portfolio growth with SMEs, corporates, and HNW.
  • Authentic leader: coaches, lifts standards, and drives accountability.
  • Commercial, influential, and comfortable operating at executive level.
