Description: As a Stationery Sales Ambassador at our flagship store, you will provide the highest level of customer service. You will have a love of gifts and stationery and be passionate about achieving sales targets by helping customers find the right products (books, games, gifts or stationery) for them. You will be someone who enjoys continuous learning about new releases, gifts or stationery.

You will have great products to promote from the most extensive range of books, games, gifts and stationery in Australia. You will also offer our Booklover Program to every customer so they can enjoy great benefits when shopping with Dymocks. In addition to helping customers find perfect gifts or stationery, you will be involved in keeping the store stocked, working on the registers, and assisting with all duties involved in working in a busy retail store.

• Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations to meet customer needs.
• Promote and sell a wide range of books, games, gifts and stationery.
• Assist customers in selecting gifts or stationery and explain program benefits (Booklover Program).
• Keep the store fully stocked and organized; assist with shelf replenishment and merchandising as needed.
• Operate the tills/registers and process transactions accurately.
• Help with general store duties as part of a busy retail environment.
• Contribute to achieving store KPIs and personal KPIs through excellent service and upselling.

• Previous experience working in a retail sales environment, ideally in stationery
• Proficiency in using retail systems
• Experience achieving personal KPIs and contributing to store KPIs
• Demonstrated knowledge of visual merchandising techniques
• Keen to learn about our products; range expands weekly
• Ability to provide superior levels of service to every customer, every time
• Ability to work quickly, accurately and with attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg
• Self-motivated and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills
