Join to apply for the Enrolled Nurse Division 2 role at Uniting Vic.Tas. This is a part-time ongoing role based in the Ivanhoe Residential Withdrawal Unit, supporting clients through the withdrawal process for alcohol and other drugs.
Responsibilities- Provide care and support to people on their journey to achieve alcohol and drug withdrawal.
- Support clients in achieving their treatment plans alongside nursing staff.
- Assist with daily living activities and encourage participation in therapeutic program activities.
- Enrolled Nurse year 3 rates and superannuation, with up to 17.5% leave loading.
- Ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.
- Option to increase annual leave entitlements through our purchase leave program.
- Paid parental leave for up to 10 weeks and a 10% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.
- Part-time ongoing role based in Ivanhoe, VIC 3079.
- Rotating roster over the full 24-hour period; talk to us about what part-time looks like.
- Registration as a Medication Endorsed Division 2 nurse with AHPRA.
- Certificate IV in AOD or have completed the core competencies (or able to complete within the first 24 months of employment).
- Competencies in dual diagnosis (or able to complete within the first 24 months of employment).
- Extensive demonstrated practical experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Ability to contribute to and support the provision of educational groups and activities for clients undergoing withdrawal.
- Ability and preparedness to assist clients with daily living tasks in a way that preserves dignity and encourages self-reliance.
