Overview

We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects and programs within one of our clients in the financial services sector

This role will provide oversight across governance, assurance, reporting, and portfolio management, while partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies, frameworks, and standards
  • Ensure project governance, assurance, and reporting processes are consistently applied
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and actuals across the portfolio, partnering closely with Finance
  • Consolidate reporting into executive-ready dashboards, insights, and board materials
  • Oversee portfolio planning, resource demand and capacity management
  • Coordinate governance forums, assurance reviews, and audit activities
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers, change managers, and business analysts
  • Act as a key point of contact for PMO-related queries and best practice
Skills & Experience
  • Proven PMO or project governance experience within financial services, banking, or superannuation is essential
  • Strong understanding of project governance, portfolio management, and assurance
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and implementing PMO standards, systems, and processes
  • Financial literacy including budget management, GL reconciliation, and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Relevant PMO/Project Management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, P3O) desirable
