Overview

Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Security/Defender for Endpoint, who is passionate about driving customers' security and AI transformation on the Microsoft Platform. This is a customer-facing role, owning the technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft, helping customers leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Drive positive customer satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor. Provide feedback and insights from customers/partners and share Voice of Customer with Microsoft teams to influence the solution roadmap.
  • Land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (e.g., Zero Trust) across Microsoft Security offerings, with a focus on Threat Protection / Defender for Endpoint across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS, and Cloud Security.
  • Support customers through the adoption lifecycle (planning, adoption, deployment, optimization) to increase utilization of Microsoft security products and lead technical solutioning across the customer journey.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demos; propose high-level solutions and collaborate with Microsoft and Partner resources to drive deployment, adoption, and cross-sell opportunities (Threat Protection, Integration with Intune, Azure AD, Sentinel, etc.).
  • Align personal skilling with team and Customer Success goals; share expertise and contribute to IP creation to accelerate outcomes.
  • Lead Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution in line with customer business goals and technical environment; achieve consensus on design and next steps toward production.
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects, FastTrack, partners, and Microsoft Consulting to develop complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions using the Microsoft Security platform.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND
  • 2+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a customer-facing role
  • 4+ years experience on technical projects; technical certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google) or security certifications

Knowledge areas including threat protection, SIEM and incident response, XDR, SOAR, SOC management, Identity and Access Management, Cloud and Data Security. Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, Microsoft Security Operations, Cloud Security, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, or GSEC are preferred.
