About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated Assistant Store Manager, to help manage the day-to-day operations of our 600-unit self-storage facility in St Marys.
This role is well suited to someone who is passionate about helping customers find their perfect storage solution,and is an integral part to our ongoing growth and success.
This part-time role involves working across three days, including Saturdays from 9am to 2pm, offering a great balance, while still being a crucial part of our team. Additional flexibility will be considered for the right candidate, up to 20 hours a week.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Handling all enquiries, being the face of Roomia by delivering flawless customer service and resolving queries promptly.
Conduct routine site safety checks and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including OH&S.
Maintain accurate customer and inventory records; follow collection procedures for overdue accounts.
Perform minor maintenance tasks and ensure that all units and grounds are clean and debris-free at all times.
Help cultivate and uphold a positive company culture.
Our Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Manager and/or ability to work unsupervised within a retail environment.
Proven computer and literacy skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Accurate filing and record-keeping abilities.
Outstanding communication skills, with a talent for problem-solving, conflict resolution and building repeat business.
